Level of 14-3-3 (Eta) Protein in Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients

چکیده
Background: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disorder that affects synovial membrane 14-3-3η (eta) novel protein marker showing potential in predicting radiographic deterioration early and established RA. The goal of this work was to estimate serum level 14-3-3 RA cases its association with disease activity.
Methods: This study carried out on 50 25 apparently healthy volunteers. were classified into group A: (diagnosed within the first three years from onset disease), B: twenty-five for more than disease) (C) control group: All subjected measurements of. erythrocyte sedimentation rates (ESR) -1st hr -2nd hr, anti-cyclic citrullinated antibody (Anti-CCP), eta activity. Radiological assessment by sharp/van der hedje scored (SHS), pain estimated visual analogue scale (VAS) activity DAS 28.
Results: There positive between ptn all clinical data (DAS 28, MHAQ, number tender joints, swollen joints VAS) both groups (A B). radiological score B).
Conclusions: higher cases' controls. Adding test either RF or ACPA improved their diagnostic capability Predicting shows promise. Up - regulation proteins are linked adverse consequences. cases.

Serum 14-3-3-eta
Objective. Serum 14-3-3η is a novel joint-derived proinflammatory mediator implicated in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). In our study, we assessed the diagnostic utility of 14-3-3η and its association with standard clinical and serological measures. Methods. A quantitative ELISA was used to assess 14-3-3η levels. Early (n = 99) and established patients with RA (n = 135) were comp...
متن کاملSerum Level of 14-3-3η (Eta) Protein as a Diagnostic Marker for Rheumatoid Arthritis and Potential Correlation with Disease Activity
Results: serum 14-3-3 η levels in patients with RA (mean &SD 2.72±1.75ng/ ml) were significantly higher (P<0.0001) as compared to healthy individuals [0.09±0.09 ng/ml] and all controls [0.14±0.21ng/ml)]. For serum 14-3-3 η diagnostic accuracy in RA; ROC curve analysis comparing patient with RA with all control showed a significant AUC (P < 0.0001) and at a cutoff of ≥ 0.39 ng/ ml, the ROC curve...
